🤮 Siete is being acquired by Frito Lays / PepsiCo 💀
Save your money
Hey there and welcome back to Farm2Me Sustainable Food Systems. We help you discover the best D2C brands and the tech stacks powering them, since 2010.
We hope you are staying cool! This week we found out Siete (which we have always suspected, and never showcased since 2010, for a reason) has been acquired by Frito Lays / PepsiCo, and we have two new brands to breakdown (French Squirrel and Holy City Straw Co) to keep your snacks healthy and establishment sustainable ahead of the competition, as well as a unique tool to tackle a new language this fall (Babble).
Now, let’s get started 🛠️
Siete bought by Frito Lays / PepsiCo
Never showcased by Farm2Me brand Siete, and for a reason, is being acquired by PepsiCo / Frito Lays for 1.2 billion dollars, that's right, billion, highlighting how far chemical preservative snack brands like Frito Lays / Tostito’s / Doritos / Fritos will go to steal emerging food & sustainable food customers . The process here is they acquire Siete, then replace the ingredients with Frito Lay’s own ingredient supply chain, and then hide Frito / Tostitos / Dorito products behind Siete packaging.
Don’t let it happen! Share this news with all 25,000 of your customers and let’s reach 7.5M Americans shopping for healthy snacks for their kids.
